Help me choose which cat photos to paint

I am doing a series of paintings of cats (about to start, anyway) and I need help figuring out which pictures I should base paintings on. Here are my cat photos:

I’m looking for more lighthearted stuff. I’m starting with this one:

So if you have a few minutes to poke through my photos and choose some you think would be good paintings, I’d appreciate it! Thanks!

How many are you looking for? Are you looking for some sort of theme beyond “light-hearted”?

I love thisone, despite it’s fuzziness. And thisone!

Thisone goes well with the one you’ve already selected.

And thistriptych.

Cute cats!

I like the ferocious security fairy one.

Pixie’s a cutie but I love that look of mischief and feigned innocence on Cory’s face.

Good call on the security fairy. I’ll definitely do that one!

Well, I’m partial to anything Ronon since you posted that adorable video on YouTube…so I’ll take the opp to ask how’s he(?) doing??

He’s doing great! He’s huge and fluffy these days, but he still does that “raaar” thing where he puts both paws in the air and waves them around like he’s gonna getcha. He and Cory wrestle all the time. He and Pixie chase each other through the house at full speed (which is hilarious on hardwood).

ooooh water for me! (Ronon)

Cat box (Cory)

Definitely this one

Opal, love Milo, Claude, and Ding. Sweet kitties!

If you need more inspiration-- I volunteer at a great no-kill cat shelter run by another talented artist gal: www.goathouserefuge.org So many great kitty faces there!

And, we’re looking toward publishing a Gazette magazine in the next year featuring cat specific art… are you interested?

elelle: possibly! I’d need more information…

The one(s) of the kitty in the blue cape standing up would make a great flying superman picture.

I adore the picture of Pixie on the deck or whatever. Love the cuteness and the composition.

The triptych mentioned above? That’s a definite possibility…
