Writing two paragraphs arguing with a quick introductory sentence where I briefly pointed out that I’m not a big Biden fan before pointing out numerous positive qualities about him, including how one of the things I don’t like about him is positive in this case is a pretty interesting choice.
There are legions of reasons, but I think it comes down to high level facts and details:
Trump failed to manage Covid 19, worse than any other nation on Earth.
People have directly died because of Trumps actions.
Trump has failed to uphold the values of our nation. He tried to pressure Ukraine into creating a bogus scandal, for which he was impeached.
Trump has empowered our enemies and alienated our allies. North Korea now aims nuclear armed missiles at our nation; meanwhile, the US has left the WHO in the face of a pandemic.
Trump has ushered in a culture of racism, directly authorized force against peaceful demonstrations and is now launching abductions. Having promised that Mexico would pay for a wall on America’s southern border, he has deliberately decided to separate children from their parents, thereby making child abuse the policy of our nation.
Trump has subverted justice in multiple occasions, not merely by commuting and pardoning his friends but also by turning the department of Justice into a personal protection racket. Transparency and accountability, even to appropriate oversight in congress, is missing.
Meanwhile:
Joe Biden voted for the Iraq War, along with Hillary Clinton and most of congress, because they believed the Bush Administration’s intelligence.
Joe Biden likes to ride the train. A lot.
Joe Biden gaffes and says silly things.
Trump is trying to prevent hospitals from reporting to the CDC (I think that is a done deal). CDC is really one of our best hopes right now. He is also trying to prevent the director of the CDC from testifying before congress.
He is also trying to cut funding to the CDC. During a pandemic. He also removed a number of US teams that would have be best able to deal with this.
He also wants to slow down the COVID testing because the numbers make him look bad.
This is just in the last couple of days.
A recent Fox News poll shows the American people trust Joe Biden more on the important issues of today.
