A friend of mine came accross a way too good to be true job posting on Monster.com recently. It can be found here.
The same exact posting exists for 64 different US cities. You can also find it by searcing for “sports commissioner” on Monster.
I’m assuming this is just some way for someone to aquire a list of names with some personal information such as phone number, email, address, etc. Probably just spammers or telemarketers.
Anyone ever hear of something like this before? Any one know for sure that it is a scam? Any hard evidence that points to it being untrue? I’m not too familiar with Monster, I’m wondering if they have problems with spammers or scam job postings.
