Help me find a gaming rig

Mods: I’m not sure if this is the right place for this (I debated here, CS, and IMHO but wasn’t sure which applied). Please move if necessary. Thanks!

So the new Mac Pro coming out got me started thinking about replacing my current gaming machine, which is a couple of years old and getting a bit dated. After determining that the Pro isn’t what I want (which is a bummer, since the spouse works at Apple and could get me a huge discount on it), I started poking around looking for something and quickly came to the conclusion that there’s a lot of stuff out there and I’m nowhere near current. So…I’m coming here in hopes of getting some suggestions.

My requirements:

Maximum of $3000 (I don’t need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. Just the tower)

Nothing I have to spec out myself. I tend to go nuts on those sites and end up building things costing as much as a small car, then getting bummed when I have to scale them back. :stuck_out_tongue: So I want something that’s already put together.

I want as state-of-the-art as possible, graphics-card-wise. I play WoW, SWTOR, and Secret World, and I want to be able to run them all at high frame rate at Ultra settings all around.

Processor speed should be fast, but doesn’t have to be bleeding-edge state of the art.

I’d like it to have an SSD and at least 1TB of storage (more preferred).

I kind of prefer Nvidia graphics cards, just because they’re what I’m familiar with.

I want name-brand parts all around, especially for important stuff like hard drive and motherboard.

I want to buy it from a reputable dealer. It’s not worth it to me to save a few bucks dealing with a dodgy online site.

My wishes:

I’d love it if it had Windows 7 instead of 8.

I’d like it to be quiet–my current one sounds like a 747 taking off when it gets going.

Would be nice if it were easy to open up. My current one isn’t.

Hot-swappable drive bays would be great.
I found a few on BestBuy.comthat look pretty good, though I can’t really tell the difference between the 3 or 4 they have at a similar price point from the same manufacturer (CybertronPC), and I’ve never heard of that brand so I have no idea if it’s any good.

Any thoughts? Things to avoid?

Some colleagues of mine have gotten good machines from iBuyPower. The company is specialized around making gaming rigs and let you completely customize your machine parts-wise, but have plenty of pre-selected configurations too so you don’t overload on options.
