Help me find "emerald" earrings for my mom's birthday

I’ve been looking but not having much luck. Several years ago we gave my mom a gold ring that was Celtic knot work with an oval emerald in the setting. She wears it all the time now–it’s one of her favorite rings. So now she’s turning 60 and I’ve been wracking my brain trying to think of a gift and it finally came to me–how about getting her some earrings that would go with the ring?

Budget is ideally less than $50 but can go up to $100. She only wears gold, not silver or white gold, but it can be plated (it would have to be, at those prices). The emeralds do not need to be real, they just need to be pretty. If they look Celtic, so much the better, but they don’t need to.

I know you guys have searching skills and also know shopping resources that I don’t know, so I figured I’d come to you for help.

So can anyone help? I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

Gaelsong has a lot of nice Celtic-style jewelry at reasonable prices.

Have you considered Google Shopping with a price range in the search criteria?

Thanks! I’ll check it out.

That’s mainly what I’ve been doing, but I figured the Dopers might have some favorite shopping sites that won’t come up in searches as readily.

Lots and lots of pretty, shiny things on Etsy.

I’ve been not displeased with Stauer - I mean, okay, they advertise in old people magazines, but I got my mom a raw emerald necklace from them and she likes it very much.

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll check them out.

Overstock.com has some that might work.

Something like this?

Or more likethis?

That first one looks promising. The second one is nice but way out of my price range.

Penney’s has some claddagh earrings (among others, the link goes to their whole selection of emerald earrings).

I figured I’d update the thread. These are the ones I ended up going with, and they are very pretty though a lot smaller than I expected them to be. I think she liked them. It’s hard to tell with my mom. Thanks for all the suggestions!

A couple days ago I recieved some targetted email from a vendor offering claddagh jewelery. Took me a few mins to remember why I had been searching for them
