Help me find iPod speakers!

I want speakers that have these qualities:

I put my iPod in it, and it charges it while playing.

I’d like a remote, but it’s not necessary

I’d like to spend <100 dollars, but we’ll talk.

I have a 5G iPod, since it matters?

I got my mome the iHome and she really likes it. I believe it meets all the criteria you list (no positive about the compatability so double check).

I got my GF this for Christmas. It sounds very good, more then good enough to fill up a room, or floor. I use it when I do the dishes, I can hear it over the water no problem. As well it can be used for other things, not just an iPod. However it doesn’t charge the iPod, no remote either. So I suppose it doesn’t fit your OP, sorry. It is under $100 though.

I want the Bose ones, but those are $300. They sound pretty sweet though.

I haven’t been too impressed with the iPod “boom boxes” I’ve heard. Haven’t heard the Bose one though. Based on my experience with Bose, it probably doesn’t suck.:wink:

I would just get a dock and remote from Apple and hook it up to some decent computer speakers. Dock: $39, Remote(optional): $29.
Speakers: How much money have you got left?

The new docks have video out too, btw.
