The fat lady is warming up in Sunnydale. Soon, I will have only Angel as my reason to even have cable. I have tried Six Feet Under, Sopranos, and various others, but have found nothing to glue me to the tube. Please tell me, what else is out there, is there life in a post-Wedon world.
Sci-Fi is re-running the entire run of Farscape.
It’s a bit into the first season, but is not too late to get into it. You have to give it more than one chance, though.
It airs at midnight every weeknight.
I will check it out, but Sci-Fi on tv has never done much for me.
There’s always Angel.
THe Shield on FX is worth it. Best show on TV. THe guy who created it used to write for Angel.
Sci-Fi is re-running Firefly, though I’m not sure when that’s starting.
That’s all I’ve got.
Unless, of course, you count The West Wing.
Ok, I’ll give you that. The Shield is the second best show on TV.
Maybe we should start a support group. Buffy will end about the same time as the NBA playoffs, and then my tv will have to sit, alone in the dust, until basketball starts again. But there will never be more Buffy. <lips quivering>
I am a big fan of Angel, but have not watched the Shield yet. As for West Wing, I have too much hate for anything Sheen. Maybe I am too picky, but that is Buffy’s fault. Sad days are ahead, especially every Tuesday.
Go rent the Shield S1 DVD. It’s definitely worth the price of rental.
I feel your pain.
Start watching Dr Who, one 25 minute episode per week. That’ll last you a few years.
Angel will be getting Spike and the ME All-Stars. Not too shabby.
[sub]Okay, okay, I’m shuttin’ up about Angel now.[/sub]
Hate to break it to you, guy, but if you’ve been spending all your time watching Buffy YOU ALREADY HAVE NO LIFE!!! Best to just lay down and die now. We need the oxygen.
Wow. That was totally uncalled for. I think an apology is in order.
I am sure the PTB will handle it.
To the OP, how about something different:
Monster Garage on the Discovery Channel. On Monday nights, check it out.
Date pepperlandgirl, and then the two of you can team up to shoot Kyomara full of hypnotic drugs and force him/her to watch the entire series.
I will not help you, because I’m currently in the ‘denial’ stage of the grieving process.
Therefore, Buffy actually isn’t going off the air, and anyone who tells me otherwise will be greated with an accusation of them being a liar and me sticking my fingers solidly in my ears.
So K-Y, you hanging out on message boards talking trash as an example of having a life? At least I CAN understand Buffy, we cant all watch blank screens for intellectual stimulation.
It could be worse.
This rumour might be true.
