Back in the '70s, I found (on a bookstore shelf) and perused a National Lampoon paperback called A Dirty Book – a collection of sexual humor, mostly in text form. (I still remember the section on “Obligatory Sexual Scenes” that might have been included in famous works of literature.) It had a plain white cover with black letters, like a box of a generic food product. There was a sequel called Another Dirty Book. I regrettably didn’t buy them at the time (I was a teenager with limited pocket-money), and I have been unable to find them since, even in used-book stores. They’re not listed on amazon.com, nor on the website (http://www.nationallampoon.com/[/url) which is the last pathetic surviving remnant of the mighty and storied NatLamp. Does anybody know where I can acquire copies of these books?
Try ABE and eBay. I’ve had good luck finding books at both places.
I previewed to check the validity of my link and went ahead and did a search on ABE at the same time – there are several copies there. One was pretty cheap ($6.00). I didn’t see the sequel, but I didn’t check for it.
