No, no Cindy Sheehan. The facts as I remember are (and its been like 6 years so I may have messed it up a bit).
I remember when the Iraq war began, there was a story about a US family which was very much involved in the anti-war effort, they organised marches, distributed leaflets, went overseas etc.
They had a son in the army and he was deployed to Iraq during the initial invasion. I believe he was killed in action a little after the actual invasion. From memory, he was an officer, a tanker maybe?
I think, times or newsweek ran the story.
I have always remembered this but have thus far been unable to find it.
