A few years ago (5-ish), I played a board game with some friends. I really liked this board game, but I’ve never been able to remember the name of it. As far as I remember, the game had large, intricate pictures, and each picture was divided up into quarters. Each team/player had a certain amount of time to find as many of the designated item in their quarter as they could. I don’t remember how we chose the item to search for – maybe there are other, small cards? I think the game had a play on words in its title, like “Visualeyes” (but that’s not the game – I’ve looked that up and it’s a different game).
Does anyone remember a game like this, and if so, what the heck is it called? It’s driving me nuts! I was really good at it and I want to put it on my Christmas list.
The game is called Scrutineyes, released in 1992. It may be very hard to find nowadays, but check Ebay, thrift stores, etc.
There was a recent German game released that had similar gameplay except each time, the whole picture is used. I played this not too long ago, but the name escapes me. If I come up with it, I’ll let you know.
