Help me find this new wave somg

The only lyric I remember is, “the little lamb (little lamb, little lamb), lies down with the lion…”

It’s not “The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway.”

I have a vague recollection of the artist being a haircut band like Duran Duran or Flock of Seagulls.

I have pretty good google-fu, but searching the lyric turns up only Genesis.

Hmmm . . . I found these, but they’re not new wave:

King Missile, Pigs Will Fly

Elvis Costello, Little Savage

Bah, beaten by seconds; my guess was Little Savage.
It’s kinda new wave, and he definitely has the haircut/look.

Simulpost!

Since the OP vaguely remembers a repeated lyric, I’m guessing that it may not literally be what they recall. We tend to mix up half remembered songs in our memories, so it wouldn’t surprise me to find out the actual lyrics are completely different.

Okay, here’s one that’s definitely an 80’s tune from a christian band:

Petra, All the King’s Horses

however the relevant lyric is: “When the lion lays down with the lamb,” so it’s not quite what the OP remembers.

Well, nice tries everybody; but I listened to all three, and they’re not it.

If it helps, the note sequence is BBBG GDGAG.

[Woody Allen] And the lion shall lay down with the lamb… But the lamb won’t get much sleep. [ /Woody Allen]

As a Duran fan, it’s not ringing any bells.
