I remember, in the early 80s, hearing a japanese (or at least a foreign language version of it, but i’m pretty sure it was japanese) version of the police’s “de do do do, de da da da”. Napster was no help. The internet as a whole was no help.
Does anyone remember this? Does anyone know which cd (well i guess it would have been an album then) this came from?
A lot of bands looking for larger audiences will sing a song in another language for release in an overseas market. Theres lots of famous examples by the Beatles.
Unless you’re asking for a band that covered that song.
