Help me find this song

This is a question that has been bothering me for 3 years now. I work retail, and I want to find one of the many versions of Sleigh Ride we play during this season. It is a male / female duet with a very distinctive arrangement:
Male: “Just hear those sleigh bells jingling ring-ting-tingling”
Female: “SLEIGH RIDE SLEIGH RIDE”
Male: “C’mon it’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with”
Female: “SLEIGH RIDE SLEIGH RIDE”

The woman’s part completely overpowers the last words of the man’s line. For other verses, they switch places.

Please tell me someone knows who this is. I’ve listened to every single Sleigh Ride on CDNow. I’m at the end of my rope here, people.

Thanks.

Just a WAG, but did you try the Carpenters?

Thanks, but no. This rendition is unlike the Carpenters’ style. I should had been more specific – it sounds like it may be from the '50s or '60s.

the season claims yet another…

tragic, tragic…

I can’t say that I’ve ever heard the version you’re describing, but let me throw a couple of names your way. and see if anything rings a bell.

Steve Lawrence and Edie Gorme.
Louis Prima and Keely Smith.
Jackie Cain and Roy Kral.

Pardon me, I think that’s actually Eydie Gorme.
