I remember that he made one comic about a nutty violin virtuoso who:
had and amazing performance, at the end of which he played the piece backwards. He then spent the rest of his life composing some amazing work of staggering genius. Then he strangled his girlfriend, sliced the skin from is arm and played the piece on his muscle and sinew as if it was a violin.
Most of his work (and it was a man) looked to me as if they were done as sketches and then colored with water-color.
Does anyone else know who I am talking about?
yi! that sounds awfully familiar. (and i do mean that in EVERY sense of the word.)
i’m thinking it was at a website that hosted stories/comics from a whole bunch of contributors. unfortunately, i think i’ve lost the link – i used to have it on my Netscape browser. something with, like, “zoo” in the name?
lemme see if i can dig anything up…
HA!
well, whaddaya know… computers really DO keep stuff lurking in the background.
try electric sheep comics. if it isn’t there, there’s still some pretty far-out stuff that you may find entertaining.
Does no one remember this guy? He was a very good artist.
Wow. That was brilliantly twisted.
No, but here’s an excellent spot to plug The Parking Lot is Full, FLEM Comics, Edible Dirt, and one I’ve just now discovered, Simulated Comic Product.
Warning: At any given time, any of these comics may not be suitable for work viewing.
