I once read an interview with Will Smith where he said something I thought was accurate but I can only vaguely remember it and Googling has let me down. Basically he said that there were two types of movies “Summer Movies” are movies where the character does things and “Winter Movies” are movies where things happen to the character.
He didn’t mean the seasons literally (and maybe not even referred to them that way) but was basically comparing Whiz-Bang Action drams with Character based dramas. Anyone know what I’m talking about? It’s a long shot I know.
