I think it was a student animation (maybe out of the UK) that started off like it was from a typical kids short set in a kitchen with anthropomorphic appliances and fruits and foods.
-
It was sing-songy and bright.
-
It starts off being about some generic message like “let’s be happy” or “Let’s play fair” or “Let’s be nice,” with some absurdism, but then suddenly takes a very, very dark turn with the music slowing and becoming very grim, and with either black liquid or blood oozing down the screen or the walls, and then a character sings something like “That’s not being happy!” and it goes back to its bright sing-songy feel.
Absolutely, that was it. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
DHMIS totally fucking rocks!
Wasn’t there talk earlier this year of another DHMIS project? More episodes maybe?
