Although I have a large & varied collection of xmas carol CDs, there are 2 songs strangely missing, so I only hear them occasionally on Muzaks. Both are old & traditional carols.
#1. Lilting, light melody. Each line is echoed, and I have a lyric fragment to go on:
Da da-dee-dah, da dah dah dah (da da-dee-dah, da dah dah dah)
How great the joy (great the joy)
Joy joy joy (joy joy joy)
Da da-dee-dah, da dah dah dah.
#2. More of a haunting melody. No lyrics at all to go on, but I think the title might be “Gesu Bambino”. I haven’t been able to find a link to any site that would play a sample; if anyone has a link, please share.
