So there are a couple of cartoons that I remember from when I was little, and it seems to me that they were anime or something really similar…I’d kill to be able to watch them again, but I have no idea where I would look…
The first one I recall had this really interesting opening, and if I remember correctly, it revolved around two brothers or friends, and in the course of some battle or struggle, some kind of magical mirror or glass of sheer evil is broken/shattered - and a single, tiny, microscopic shard gets into the eye of one of the brothers, and it gradually turns him into a being of pure evil…
The other one (and hell, if may even be the same cartoon as the one above) had some little miniature pony thing in it - and toward the end of the movie, this little ungainly pony turns into a magnificent unicorn to battle some unbelievable huge dragon/demon/monster thing, saving a princess or some woman in the process. I think the pony even forfeits her life in the cause. But I can’t remember.
