I wanted to do some research on an artist I studied waaaaay back when I was in high school art class, but I’ve forgotten the artist’s name. I was hoping someone could help me.
The paintings we studied were all gridded portraits done in acrylic. Each gridded square was filled with concentric circles, ovals, and swirls. The overall effect was somewhere between a photomosaic and pointillism. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
