Help me identify this experimental film maker (1970s)

I viewed a couple films made by this mysterious filmmaker a couple years ago.

I actually saw this guy referenced on a website talking about the ambiant black metal band “Abruptum.” I think he was Russian.

What i remember from the films are tons of naked people, often crawling all over eachother in a gymnasium sort of making depictions of hell or torment.

I remember pigs and cows getting their throats slit and the actors or whatever bathing in the blood.

There were lots of crazy filmmakers around then…Fellini? Alejandro Jodorowsky? Do you remember any more details?
