I have found on my hard drive an old text document, rather short. When I saw it, I remembered it, but I don’t remember where it came from, or even if I might have written it.
It is similar to other silly fragments I’ve written over the years, but those are all in one document and this wasn’t in that. I think I probably just saw it somewhere and thought it funny enough to save. But where did I see it?
I’ve Googled around, and even asked Claude, and it does not seem to be on the internet. (Well, I guess it will be now!)
Here it is in its entirety:
The longer a zombie has been dead, the farther from human it gets.
For instance, Bob Ross painted happy trees for a while after he died, but soon took up new hobbies such as painting cockroaches, eating cockroaches, and finally, breeding cockroaches in his chest cavity.
After that, the brain-eating started and he hasn’t been much fun to be around since.
The only concrete clue is, via metadata, I see that the document was first saved on July 6th 2003 at 2:05 AM.
Does this ring a bell for anyone?
