I’ve got this old book called Key to the Book of Life (Math and Sign Symbols) with an Al Marusa credited as the author. The book is 3rd edition copyright 1973. It was printed by Boyd Done’s Skyline Printing Company (actually spelled “Copmany” in the book.) The address for this company is listed in the book as 3750 East Speedway, Tucson, Arizona, 85716, Phone number 793-1562 or 326-2025. Neither of these numbers work anymore, and there doesn’t seem to be any such printing company in Tucson anymore. I found a prining company with the name “Done” in it listed on the Internet, but the given phone number did not work.
Names listed in the book include a President, Al Marusa, a Vice President, Dave Marusa, a Treausurer, Ruth Kraus, a Secretary, Marion Boyd Done, and a General Distribution Manager (San Diego), George Pallas. It is not specified what organization these guys hold these offices in ] however.
The book contains such fascinating text as:
"We measure from beginning without beginning to end without end–infinity minus and infinity plus–endless past to endless future. hat can we be sure of? What can we think of that has no beginning or end, is without measure an permeates all? Nothing! In a positive sense to make it something–What is it? this is our ZERO in numbers, our first, last, and all embracing symbol–both mius and plus, “nothing” and “everything”. To make it mostly something, as a beginning, we cal it a “quantum” or particle of light, an electron particule, or on paper a minature ZERO or point. “LET THERE BE LIGHT”–our 1st dimension…
…So one is two in reality and we use our poiont moving to express the feeling of time moving from past to present, and we name this second dimension the minus sign. It is equal to the first and the ZERO on a one to one ration. So now 0 + 1 = 2. Since our minus and point are equal, what makes them dfiferent? Only the point of view and symbol…
…‘Mass is a relative coordinate of dimension in a four dimensional entity’, an appearance of things to and away from point of view or balance…"
It reads like this for 180 pages.
I have looked up various combinations of various important terms from the description I just gave on google and come up with nothing useful.
I am just interested in finding out who wrote this and if there are still any people connected to this group who in some way take seriously whatever ideas are being expressed here.
The book originalyl belonged to my mother, but she has no recollection of how she came to hav a copy. She probably just bought it from a used book store on a lark one day.
