Help me locate this video clip of live-action roleplaying

I saw a video clip of some D & D fanatics engaging in some live-action role-playing in a forest…there was one guy that was in some sort of monster costume and he was being attacked by the ‘good guys’ and there was a ‘wizard’ throwing some sort of bean bags or something at the monster and yelling “Lightning bolt! Lightning bolt!” over and over. Anyone know where I can find this video online?

Don’t ask my why I have this link, or I’ll be forced to Lightning Bolt you.

That’s it!! Thanks!

Ha ha haaaa! The classics never get old.

God bless live action roleplayers. They give us table-top gamers someone to look down on.

Is this really live action role playing, or a good excuse to pummel someone with bean-bags and sticks? :dubious:

Nope this is the real thing! Looks like they are using the NERO (New England Roleplaying Organization) rules.

Not proud of it, but on a lark, I tried this once. I am over 6' tall, so I played the obvious choice.

 A hobbit!

Miller, can I use that as my sig?

While we’re on the subject of roleplayers and internet videos… does anyone have a link to the video (or audio, but preferably video) of the one “do you have any mountain dew” and “I cast magic missile at the darkness” and “are there girls there? If there are I want to DOOOOOO one” clip?

Help yourself, Film Geek.

It’s an old Doctor Demento bit called “Dungeons and Dragons”. I’ve seen a couple different vids of it, but the one I’ve seen most is Summoner Geeks, starring characters from the game Summoner.

I seriously love the graphics on it.

I like the Summoner Geeks video better, largely because of the ridiculously large monster hunching over by the fridge, screeching “Where’s the Mountain Dew?”

Yea, the giant frickin’ horns just make it that much funnier for some reason.
