The Pawhut has a larger base, less likely to tip over.
Keep in mind no matter what features you find cat worthy, your cat won’t love them all. Ours hates the hammock and only after 18 months has entered the penthouse on hers.

The new cat tree is on the left. I’ll post more pictures as I catch them in it. So far, they’re slowly warming up to it and still seem to prefer the suspended cat bed on the window and their second cat tree which you can see them in. Gamma usually gets the top bed. Soa likes being in the soft beds because she fits neatly.
The Paw Hut was a pain to assemble, just like the reviews said. I think I lost a double-headed screw or used it where a normal screw would have done, thus the bed on the left should be on a pole but it’s good where it currently is.
I have difficulty with the top mast; Pushing it open so there’s pressure results in the whole thing slipping to the right. It also bends enough that I raised it a little so it would rest on the more solid cat tree on the right.
I may eventually disassemble it and reassemble it in some other way that’s going to be more solid and put the most interesting stuff at the top.
Overall, a good cat tree that will become a great one with some more time and attention.
