Help me pick my next Binge Watch

Well I’ll be damned. Thanks!!!

Bates Motel. I watched the first ep on a lark, thinking I wouldn’t be that interested in the early adventures of a young Norman & Norma bates. Then I marathon-watched the first season and am caught up now. It’s on its third ep of season two. It can be hilarious good fun. The two of them, the whole town their in, all the characters each in their own way are nuts as hell, yet you feel for them and you truly never know what’s going to happen, or if these poor people are even all that crazy. It reminds me a bit of Weeds and Nurse Jackie in tone.

You’re going to love House Of Cards, Omni. It’s brilliant.

Submitted for your perusal: have you seen all of the fourth season of the original Twilight Zone? Before you say “of course I have, you silly git,” are you sure? If you’re like me and grew up watching them on KTLA in Los Angeles, you may not have seen all of the one-hour episodes. I don’t think they ever made it into syndication, at least not in my neck of the woods. I’m watching the entire season right now, and the only one that I’ve ever seen before is Of Late I think of Cliffordville. The rest are all brand new episodes for me. I just now finished watching the ninth episode of that season (1963), a fantastically bizarre and delightful episode called Printer’s Devil. Wonderful episode, featuring Burgess Meredith at his creepiest and finest.

Thanks to this thread I just binge watched Orphan Black. I now highly recommend adding it to your list, the lead actress is excellent and given the shows premise that’s critical to the success.

For an outlier – Endeavor. He is Endeavor Morse – the young constable and blossoming detective later to be beloved by us all as Inspector Morse.

The best thing, from a binge watching perspective, is that it’s new and only the first season of 4 episodes is available on Netflix so far.

Bumping to say thanks for this recommendation! I thought the show was excellent. Great performances. I wonder how true to life it really is 'cause Masters is just an asshole. Not much of a spoiler as you learn this in the very first episode!

Looking forward to Season 2.
