I’ve got a test tomorrow morning at 7AM and I was breezing up until this obvioudly simple topic. A 'canonical sum is 'the sum of minterms corresponding to truth table rows for which the function produces a 1 output. What I don’t understand is that every minterm produces a 1 output. Why not add all minterms as opposed to certain rows? SHIT! (canonical product should be self explanatory after this…)
