if anyone has any ideas on how I can get my cd player to work, i’d eallyappreciate it!!!
Car: 03 Toyota Avalon
CD Player: Already is full with 6 cds loaded, prior to past 2 days it worked fine.
Problem: Won’t play, eject, wont allow me to “load” or switch.
Error Msg: On the display screen it reads, “CD X”

I’m sure I’ve got the same 6 disc player in my '03 Camry XLE, but there isn’t anything in the manual that covers this.
My only suggestion, short of taking the car to a Toyota dealer, is to disconnect the negative battery terminal for a while. 30 minutes or so?
Removing the power from the system may help reset the system, and allow you to eject the discs.
If this doesn’t work, a Toyota dealer is your best bet. It’s possible that the CD player is simply broken or physically jammed - and it’ll cost you about $2,000 to fix ( 
[sub]just kidding[/sub]).

Nah, I was just kidding. The car is still under warranty, right? The CD player might be covered.
it’s a Hertz rental, i suppose i could take it to them but probably have to leave it for svcng and i’d have to take small compact until fixed, so if i can keep it simple (a quick do-t-urself fix) the better 
btw, unplugged it few minutes ago, wait’n another 20 mins b4 reconnect… will let ya know if it worked.
