It sounds like the music they used to play before old movies start. Not very helpful, sorry.
It sounds like it could be some royalty-free music. I don’t know. It’s got that hokey '50s sound to it. Either they bought limited rights to it from some hokey '50s music source, or it’s in the public domain (doubtful, but possible), or something like that.
It struck me from the first few bars like it came from the Musical Song & Dance version of the original Star Trek series. Which was by Alexander Courage but sorry, don’t know it.
WAG—it’s a piece of production music (ref. yosemitebabe) from JAM Creative Productions in Dallas or similar; to my ear, it has that “JAM” sound, and both production companies share the same city.
Really, though—shoot the guy an e-mail and see what he says. I’m sure you’re hardly the first person inquiring of such a thing from him.
