So I’m cleaning out the attic(Hurrah!) I have no problem throwing away other people’s stuff, no sirree, but then we come to my stuff. I’ve got notebooks from eighth grade in there, even a little from sixth(I’m 22). I managed to throw those away.
Then we come to my stuff from high school. I’ve got four huge binders of Latin translations from my two AP classes. I’m very attached to them because I spent two years doing them, yet logically I know I have no use for them. So please, convince me to throw them out.

My general rule for this kind of thing is “if I haven’t seen it, needed it or even thought of it in the past year, out it goes!” I’m a packrat, too, but I tend to do the binge and purge kind of thing. I’ll amass large quantities of stuff then get sick of the clutter and go through and do the big purge.
Oh, and if you come across any cool toys you might want to check ebay–it could be very lucrative!
Rent several large storage units. Don’t trash anything. You never know when you’ll need it … hang onto it all, just in case. Trust me.
Evil, Evil, Peritrochoid , I am courageously ignoring you. They’re going in the trash. Really. I promise.
