Please help because the curiosity is killing me!
Back in the 90s, when I was just in my teens, I was hooked on this Detective Series which I can’t recall for the life of me…
I can’t even remember the characters’ names, but it is a series of books - many books…at least 10.
It’s set in the UK I think, or the US, but I remember adventures in France and Europe. I strongly believe it’s set in UK.
I just can’t for the life remember anything… the illustrations are cartoony - not as serious as Famous 5 or Hardy Boys.
The Detective/Inspector (protagonist) in the story is a grown-up. It’s not as serious as Holmes -targeted for teenagers. Definitely more mature than Geronimo Stilton.
Any specific detail regarding one of the cases would help.
I have one of those too. I remember reading a mystery series back in the 70s. I think it involved a family having adventures/solving mysteries. One of the kids in the family had a nemesis in a neighborhood bully. The books themselves may have been older. That’s all I can remember…
Andrew Tillet, Sara Wiggins & Inspector Wyatt series?
When was it set? Do you remember any character details or case specifics?
I can’t for the life of me remember any of the cases even though I’ve read it all! And that’s the frustration.
It’s a male detective/inspector, set in mid 1900s I think. He has a sidekick - also an adult guy.
As I said, one of the books involved going to France and there was a brief write-up about the Eiffel Tower,
The illustration and book cover is very cartoonish.
Please help.
