This is driving me bonkers - I like flipping radio stations while driving around running erands, and I’ve been listening to a lot of Latin music lately (103.5 La Kalle mostly, and on Sunday afternoons there is a great show on Loyola University’s radio station at 88.7 FM that plays a lot of Caribbean stuff).
I’ve heard this song a few times, but for some reason the DJs never say who the artist is - it has a slow-ish, catchy, danceable sort of beat, not at all like the other stuff they play, which is mostly reggaeton. I haven’t heard it enough times to memorize the lyrics, but the guy seems to be singing about some sort of hot bohemian gringa girl with a fetish for Latin music. Snippets I do remember:
*Levanta la mini-falda/hasta la espalda,
No me importa si te gusta Green Day/No me importa si te gusta Coldplay.*
Sorry, I know that’s not much to go on, but does anyone know what artist/song/album this is?
I don’t know the song, but I’m on a lunch break. 
Googling the lyrics you gave suggests that it is a song called ‘Atrevete-te’ by a group/artist named ‘Calle 13’.

Anyone care to provide linguistic guidance on some of the slangier bits, like maybe Esto es hasta abajo, cogele el tricky and such? Slang was never my strong point, though I’m getting the vibe that most of the song consists of veiled (and not-so-veiled) sexual references.

Oh, the straightforward Spanish I get just fine (my undergrad adegree is in Spanish). It’s the slang that gets me, not being a native speaker and all. But please don’t let that dissuade you from translating the song for others
