I remember seeing (on TV) this indie-pop-folk band.
There were lots of people (two keyboards, violin, some brass, etc).
Men and women.
The main singer had a Hippie Jesus vibe.
Any idea of what band I’m talking about?

Or that trippy band that used to have background dancers in fursuits, what was their name? Edit: The Flaming Lips!
My first guess is Polyphonic Spree.
Or maybe The Decemberists, although the lead singer is not all that Jesus-y.
