It was sort of popular in the early to mid-nineties on alternative radio stations. I’ve searched on YouTube and other places with no luck. Partial lyrics include," cause I’m in a mood…for something special (?)… (something about my head)…there’s nothing stupid I ain’t already said…

It’s the first song I think of when i hear the “I’m in a mood” even though it’s not really a major part of the song nor do the other lyrics fit yours it’s a very distinct line from this song.
