Help with locating a legal, purchasable download of a Tom Lehrer album

I’m keen to purchase a downloadable version of Tom Lehrer’s “That Was The Year That Was”.

Difficulty #1: I’m in New Zealand and cannot purchase from Amazon or iTunes (US).

Difficulty #2: The NZ iTunes store has the album listed but with the wrong tracks. :confused: The album review text at the top even discusses the right tracks, but the list available for purchase is… well… I’m not sure, but it’s basically a compilation that manages to exclude every single track on the album I want.

[I’ve sent feedback to the NZ iTunes store but have no idea if that’ll help].

So… I’m trying to find another option… I want to get that specific album because between that and the 2 earlier albums I have bought it covers the bulk of Lehrer’s catalog.

Please note that I’m not enquiring about dodgy sites, etc… I’d really prefer to buy the album. (And anyway, it’s 45 year old geeky comedy music and not likely to appeal to the young rapscallions and their new fangled pear-to-pear thingamybobs). :slight_smile:

This blogger explains how to open a foreign itunes account without a credit card.

You will need to get a US itunes gift card (or just the code). The above blogger sells them (but I don’t know who he is and have never dealt with him, so act at your own risk). They are also available from eBay sellers. (Ever wonder why itunes gift cards sell for more than face value on eBay? You aren’t the only person outside the US who wants access to the US store.) Or google for other sellers.

Just get a copy of the CD; you can find them for like US$3.00 easily.
