I’m in the process of creating a slideshow using Roxio MyDVD Plus. The slideshow contains about 200 pictures with one background audio file (an .mp3 I created by combining several audio files).
Everything goes well until playback (all this is BEFORE burning anything to DVD…). At certain consistent intervals, the counter resets and there is a hiccup in the slideshow and the audio. Once the counter has “reset,” all is well again until playback gets to the interval again. It’s sort of like this:

[li]Playback starts[/li][li]Counter starts at “00:00:00”[/li][li]Counter gets to some interval, say “10:00:00”[/li][li]Slideshow and audio hiccup[/li][li]Counter resets (back to “00:00:00”[/li][li]Playback goes well until counter reaches “10:00:00” again[/li][li]Slideshow and audio hiccup[/li][li]Counter resets to “00:00:00”[/li][li]Playback continues to the end (as long as the “interval of death” is not reached again[/li][/ul]
The hiccup and reset happen mostly simultaneously. The audio file is about 23 minutes long and I have an option set that fits the slideshow to the duration of the audio file. I’ve tried using the individual audio files instead of one large file, but it does the same thing. The interval at which the “hiccup” occurs is pretty consistent, at least for me, somewhere between 8 minutes and 10 minutes 40 seconds.
Hopefully someone here can help because I’ve searched all over the web with no luck.
