Those Naughty Monkey’s are pretty close and very pretty… the fact is, though, I don’t really even have a budget. September has been (and will be!) an expensive month! I’ll definitely keep them in mind, though!
Antigen, good luck with the shoes. Your dress looks great, and I think if you’re going to a fun evening function, some contrasting shoes in a bright colour would be very nice.
I’d also like to thank people (or maybe not) whose links I followed to zappos. Last time I looked there, they did not ship to Canada, but now a Canadian site has opened. I see incipient poverty, whilst surrounded by shoes.
All right, well half an hour later my bubble has burst. My favourite brand which is findable aplenty on the US site only has bags on the Canadian site. Dammit.

Years ago, a friend of mine introduced me to the concept of “jar boys”. Jar boys are boys that are very pretty, but that for whatever reason you would never date (already in a relationship, too stupid, whatever) so you put them in a “jar” on your shelf and take them out to look at them when you feel like it.
I have now discovered “jar shoes”. I might have to clear out some of the boys to make room…!
