Cute Shoe Thread

My most recent purchase (and long overdue, I might add) here . I got them today, and they’re so cute. And cheap! My, they were cheap.

It’s almost tax refund time, and I might set out to buy a pair or two… whatcha got?

Those are great. I love red shoes. I’ve got my eye on these but I can’t quite talk myself into paying that for them. (Yet. Give me a couple more days.)

Pretty shoes!

I’m going shoe shopping after my next paycheck (end of the month). I really need a pair of black pumps that I can wear with stuff in general. I have a pair of Mary Jane low-heeled pumps but they really only work with “cute” outfits.

I bought these shoes a month or so ago. five bucks for the pair. Of course they’re cheap and poorly made. But they’re cute!

Droooooooooool. Those are uber-cute.

I covet red shoes, but I can’t seem to ever bring myself to buying a pair whenever I’m shoe shopping - I end up with plain brown or black every time.

Shoes are a problem for me. I like them a lot. See tons in the stores that I think are the cutest shoes ever. But I have no style sense. So what would I wear any of them with?

This is what I really need. A style show that isn’t for the people that are completely out of touch, crazy or such. A show that’s just for people who are “a bit frumpy” or “have only figured a few things out”. Like me. I didn’t have a TV until I moved in with my current roommate, but I’ve caught a few of these shows here and there. I didn’t learn a damn thing from any of them, except that I am far better off than many of the people on those shows. And yet still not good…

Cute shoes, though.

What Not To Wear would be perfect for you… shall I nominate you? Or, you could just get you a couple pairs of nice jeans with a slight flare leg- they always look good with cute shoes. Can’t miss with that.

Oh those are too cute.

I am on the search for red shoes for my wedding. I love the idea of fantastic red shoes poking out from under the dress. I fell in love with this pair but they were $250! I just can’t justify that.

Sigh

They were great shoes.

You get on these shows by being nominated? I always figured the people on them had some idea that something wasn’t quite right, but couldn’t put their finger on what. You know, kinda like I do.

I will consider flare-leg jeans, for cute shoes. However, jeans are kind of a bitch to fit properly to me anyway, so I have been going for jeans I know fit. They’re a western cut and brand.

I’ll see if I can find some What Not to Wear. It may be that I just don’t know how to take the advice I see on the show and apply it to myself. I know a lot of women love that show.

Ladies, we’re gonna need pictures of the shoes ON if we men are to fairly judge. Preferably with a lot of leg showing as well.

I bought these a couple of weeks ago, because I have an obsession with pointy black pumps. Mine aren’t patent leather though, they are just plain soft grain leather. They are ridiculously comfortable. And because Astroboy14 asked so nicely and I happen to be wearing them today, here’s a crummy camera pic.

And because my old Fiend Flats are looking pretty tattered, I also bought a pair of Classic Van Slip Ons in black. Also super comfy and cute.

Does anyone mind if I sneak in with a request for advice? I bought a dress for a wedding and I’m looking for shoes to go with it. I’d like to get away with a nice ballet flat, but I think it may look best with heels. The dress hits me at slightly below mid-calf level. I’ll be wearing nylons with it. ETA: I bought the Black/Mulberry one.

I’m hopeless and I need recommendations for what style would look best with this dress. Black/patterned? What color if so? Flats? Heels? How high? (My shoe budget is as far under $50 as possible.)

I love those! But what is the outfit you were thinking of for them? I think I need that to complete the picture.

That’s an ADORABLE shoe! I envision that with a 50s style full skirt dress.

I’d go with a minimum 2.5" heel. Ankle strap or pump will work, and black is good unless you can find something that matches (which I don’t think you will). Check out Zappo’s. Order a half dozen pair and send the rest back for free.

I’ll probably just pair these with black pants or skirt, or dressy jeans, and a red top of the same hue.

I have now fallen in love with these.

But these still hold a place in my heart.

I like the second pair, but that first pair has stolen my heart. I’ma have to get me summa those.

Oh and Here is the dress.

With a red rose bouquet.

That is a nice dress!

I know a bride who told everyone told come to the reception in white, and she busted out in a sexy red evening gown- it was awesome!
