I want 'em, I want 'em, I want 'em!!!
But I can’t justify the cost!!
Those shoes say, “hotsy totsy tamale”!
I did see a pair that looked quite similar at TJ MAXX the other day for considerably less…Not sure if you have that store by you?
Mmmm. Those are some sexy shoes.
Truly those are covetous!
If it’s the color combo you like the most, that “watermelon” look is very popular right now. I bet you can find a cheaper and similar pair at your local mall. I know I saw a few similar to those at mine.
I love them too. They’re fabulous.
I have a hard time finding shoes. [not that I actually need more shoes]. Shoe fashion is still in the ‘How to look like a dork’ stage, around here.
Since I’m a shoe-fanatic, I had an American friend sending me shoes I picked online. [the store didn’t sell overseas].
Currently I’m in love with these.
No reason why I should buy them, really. They’re not exactly fitting with the rest of my clothes. I just love them.
Funny thing is: I don’t care all that much for [expensive] stuff. But shoes…
I’m sorry - I’m having trouble understanding what you’re saying here. Could you clarify for me?
- Alice - Shoe Queen.
Ohh baby, too bad they don’t come in size 14 EEE! That’s OK though, I don’t think that little post thingie in the back would hold me up anyway.
I must be missing the girly shoe gene. They look incredibly uncomfortable to me, and I can’t for the life of me see how that tiny little bit of material, even with superb workmanship, could cost that much.
Then again, I spend my life in $30 Reeboks.
FairyChatMom, I’m with you. Not only am I missing the girly shoe-coveting gene, I simply have no filter for “cute” shoes whatsoever. I can decode clothing - even the stuff I wouldn’t wear myself, I can tell you if it’s the hip fashion right now. But I don’t understand when a shoe is good or bad. While I absolutely believe the OP that the linked shoe is wonderful, it looks to me like the plastic shoes my neice got in her dress-up set in the mid-nineties. When I go shoe shopping for a special occasion, I have to take a helper along, or I end up with what I’m later told are the most hideous, wrong shoes possible. But they seem to me to be much like what I’m told are fabulous, perfect shoes. I despair of ever getting it right.
Yeah, I have no taste in shoes either. Cite: check these babies out. Equally wearable on a construction site or Queen Street West! Casual, and shock-resistant!
While I’ll admit to lusting after many a shoe, in actuality, I only have 2 pairs of high heels (1 black, 1 brown), a pair of ugly snow boots, hiking boots, hiking shoes, 2 pairs black flat mary janes, 1 pair of brown loafers, 1 pair ugly (but comfortable) sandals, and a few pairs of gym shoes. That’s not that much, is it?
If those babies had a lower heel, I would possibly spring for them. They’d look terrific with jeans, and most of my tops are black, so no color-conflicts there. I have felt up this brand in the store (they didn’t have the style there, thank Og or I might’ve bought them) and the footbed is nice and soft that with a lower heel and straps with some give, they might just be comfortable.
I want them in turquoise. But $160.00?
I can’t handle little strappy sandals any more. I need to find something for summer that will go with skirts but isn’t as heavy as my current collection of footwear. I like boots mostly. I found this the last time I was searching for the kind of practical stompin’ shoes I gravitate toward, and was wondering what kind of work they had in mind. (A current search on that category of Zappos brings up much more of my kind of boot!)
It could be worse… you could be in love with these F-me beauties.
That’s hot!
But if you buy NOW, you save $245.01 !! Then you could afford the OP’s shoes and a pair of sneakers and a nice dinner.
I like those…I don’t have the guts to wear them, though. They kind of send of a message I don’t really want to send.
I almost bought these today in caramel. Might go back for them - but 3 inches is a little high for me.
Susan
With shoes like that, you don’t have to worry about paying for dinner.
Oooo. I adore those, Susan. 3 inches isn’t that high, is it? * ::converting::* 7.3 centimeters? Well…It’s kinda high.
hehehe, QuickSilver. I bet they’re comfy.
