I'm in love with these shoes

Shoes, shoes, shoes…Ah, how I love them.

These are the last shoes I bought - in cognac. I’m lucky I didn’t see that they came in silver until later - I’ve managed to fight off temptation for those.

Susan

Vamp on a budget.

Their taller cousins.

You’ll have to click for a larger view and then select the actual close up.

Maybe we ought to open a thread about shoe-addicts, huh.

Those would look great with a long hippie skirt, Susan.
Believe it or not, QuickSilver, but I have those with a lower and slightly broader heel. My S.O. said I could keep a little goldfish in the heel. heh.
But they fit with everything. Neutral color, you know.

I like the blue shoes on this page.

Ofcourse, we also have these around here.

I’ll shut up now.

Kohl’s did a bad thing. They had “Take an additional 70% off clearance prices” on clearance shoes.

Suffice it to say I now have shoes like these, but in black. I also bought the Sketchers version of the suede with fleece boots. LilMiss bought new Vans and a pair of Dockers black leather ballet flats. The Vans were $34.99. The other three pairs cost $15.00. Total.

Between the kid and I was have well over 100 pairs of shoes. We do need to go through and weed out those that no longer fit. LilMiss has gone from a size 7 to 8 1/2-9 in less than a year. That will probably bring us down to 70 pairs.

Yes, we do need a Shoe-aholics Anonymous group.

(but they’re sooo purdy!)

Now THESE I love! Wowza! I since my wardrobe in summer consists exclusively of long hippie skirts*…hmmm…

*which are irritatingly difficult to find anything other than a Birkenstock that looks good with, btw. And my foot is entirely the wrong shape for Birks - they hurt me!

I have always wanted to wear the cute f-me shoes. Only Og gave me old lady feet and a big fat dosage of Common Sense and Tightwaddery when I was born.

I wear birkenstock clogs most of the year ( Bostons.) and for the crappy winter days of butt high snow, I give you these feminine jobbies Yeah, I kick ass, take names and have had them over ten years and wear them with no socks in the winter. Best freakin’ boots evah.

Susan, Just gorgeous.

I think I might “settle” for these (big pic, in pink) or these (in what else, pink). I’ll try them on this week. Plus, I have a $20 gift card.

I never could. I have big, ugly feet. And when you put those into strappy sandals, it looks like Cinderella’s stepsisters must have looked. (Even worse are chunky shoes.) Quite frankly, rather pick out a bathing suit in flourescent lighting than shoes.

So, no shoe addiction for me.

Those aren’t f-me beauties, those are f-YOU beauties.

I like those sexy kinds of shoes, but I can’t wear them. My version of sexy shoes this season is Rampage platform flip-flops.

Fortunately I was able to indulge myself and actuallt purchase my dream shoes.

Slippers, really. I feel like Cinderfella in them.

If not for the ankle strap, I’d totally buy those.
I love heels. I’ve decided that after my back surgery, I’m going to buy at least 4 pair of heals - with a minimum of a 4" heel. I have been wearing nothing but sneakers for 7 months and I miss my heels.

Hey! I think I found something not-wrong! Inspired by you, Susan, I found these for $16 at Target. They’re not nearly so fabulous as yours, but much more within my budget!

Target has amazing shoes sometimes. I’d been wanting a pair of retro wedge heels and then I saw these for only $17. Comparable ones on Zappos were $75.

My dream shoes right now are these but I keep talking myself out of getting them…

I need some steel-toed boots for construction site visits and all the ones I see are so awful. I want these boots but I can’t find my size plus I probably shouldn’t get boots that’ll make people take me less seriously.

I’m in love with these shoes but I have to keep telling myself I already have three pairs of kitten heeled black pointy toed shoes and I don’t need more.

I think these heels are fascinating and I know they’d last forever but they’re kinda pricey.

I also secretly want these because they’re so incredibly slutty but I definitely don’t need them.

I beg to differ. What’s “price” or “need” got to do with it?
FWIW… I’d love to go to the same parties you go when you wear these things!

Mmmm, nice. They might make you fall down (if you’re clumsy like me) but I bet a lot of people would be willing to help you back up! Or get down there with you.

With shoes like that, I don’t think you even take her to dinner.

I want these. Well, my husband wants me to get them, but I love them too.

There’s something about these that I just have to have. But I think these might be the next purchase, in pink of course.

Worth mentioning.

Hee. I’ll admit to buying shoes maybe once every four years or so.

However, my everyday footgear alternates between these two:

11-inch Durango harness/engineer boots – bought these in uni, wear 'em every so often, and they’re still in next to new shape. I’m wearing these today.

and

Fluevog Derby Swirl – Got these in a dark red-brown color, used off ebay a couple years back.

(The high heels come out exactly once a year, for the company Christmas party where I shock and awe everyone by showing up wearing something that isn’t jeans and boots.)
