Help with song ID!

I heard a Christmas song on the at-the-pump radio at the gas station last week, which is completely weird. I know the song, it’s on the radio-Christmas-music rotation every year, and yet I can’t seem to remember what it is, or even get the lyrics right. If I could get the lyrics, I could Google it!

It’s a recent-ish song, not one of the old classics. Probably 80s or 90s? Female singer. Main lyric is something like “I wanna be dum-dum-dum(a word held for three beats) for Christmas”. Possibly “wanna go” or "this Christmas ".

Please help me rescue my brain. It’s been trying to figure it out for days now and it’s tired.

“I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” ? Too many syllables (and probably too old) but maybe it will jog someone else.

Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You?

No, neither of those. I know those both really well! And I still have not gotten my hippopotamus - must be on back-order.

I may have to wait till the Christmas season rolls back around, so I can stalk the radio and catch more of the lyrics for Google search purposes.

“Home For Christmas” by Maria Mena?

I found it! I played around with the lyrics I thought I heard and it turns out I was way off.

It’s “I’m gonna be warm this winter”, by Connie Francis. The YouTube version isn’t quite right, so based on my research I suspect I heard the version she re-recorded for a new album in 1989, which would make my timing about right. I also found a cover by Gabriella Cilmi in 2008, which I guess could have been it, especially because she actually uses “Christmas” in the chorus at the end instead of “winter” but the first woman’s voice seems right. Can’t find Francis’ more modern version quickly this morning, though.

Thanks for the help, guys.
