My coworkers and I have a problem. We were listening to a collection of jazz and we came across Chuck Mangione’s “Feels So Good”. Two of us immediately recognized it as a theme from an old TV show. We’re both sure that it used to be a theme song, but we can’t remember for what. 
So we’re calling on the power of the SDMB to help us. We really need to get back to work. :smack:

Could you be thinking of King of the Hill? He’s a recurring character and manages to work Feels So Good into every appearance.
Yeah, we saw the King of the Hill appearances too. We’ve scoured the internet and we can’t find any reference to that song being used as a theme. But we play it for everyone that comes into the lab and most folks agree that it’s an old TV theme song.
Things like this just drive me nuts! I’ll probably wake up in the middle of the night three years from now and just know it. :rolleyes:
I remember it as the theme of a morning news show in the '70s. I was living in North Jersey at the time, so it might have been a local affilliate from NYC. Hope that helps…
