My fiancé bought me the Handystitch hand sewing machine last Christmas, and I finally got around to opening it :o so I could sew some of his pants. I need to change the bobbin to a different color, but I can’t seem to loosen the bobbin nut that holds the bobbin on. What is the correct procedure for changing the bobbin on this thing, short of throwing the damn thing out and dragging out my regular-sized sewing machine?
Throw the damn thing out and haul out the regular machine. IIRC, the Handystitch only does a chain stitch, which pulls out very easily and won’t last. Better off to impress him by doing it right the first time.
