Helping BMalion save his house

Our friend and fellow Doper BMalion, who has MS, is at risk of losing his house to the company which holds his mortgage. (This is not a thread to discuss the wisdom, or lack thereof, of the company’s decision). I have BMalion’s permission, and that of the MPSIMS PTB, to start this thread. I hope you’ll join me in helping him.

Thank you for your most generous gift!

I could only give a little but I’m happy to help. Good luck BMalion!

I don’t get paid until May 5th but will fire him a few quid then. I hope things work out okay. Bmalion has been a gracious host to me at his lovely home more than once.

Donation made! Good luck!

Seconded on both counts, and many thanks! Please pass along a link to any other Dopers who might be able and willing to help.

I’ll donate today. I’ll also forward to some friends I have with ties to the Cleveland area. Hopefully they will want help a fellow Ohioan out.

Done. First time I’ve ever done something like this. I’ve had a good year, and happy to help out a fellow doper.

Many, many thanks!

Just a small donation, but I hope it helps toward meeting the goal.

Another small donation, but every bit helps, right? the best of good luck to you.

I donated too. I used to live in the neighborhood right next door - lovely, historic area with easy access to shops, and reasonably priced. With the house already customized, there isn’t a better place for him to be.

Not only is it already set up for BMalion’s specific needs, that’s the cutest darned house I’ve seen in forever! I can’t donate today, but hopefully at least a bit by next week. And I can share via social media - one of my dearest friends lived in Stowe for about a decade, and I know that my wider circle will share and help wherever possible.

Brian Malion hosted probably four Cleveland dopefests. He’s a most gracious host and a hell of a lot of fun. Thanks to all helping him remain independent.

Good luck and I hope this will be successful.
I was glad I was able to help a little.

Hear, hear!

Posted at his request.

Pulling for you, Brian. Hugs.

Done, and good luck!

The numbers are definitely moving in the right direction. My thanks to everyone so far. Pass the word, please!

Donation made, and good luck.
