Any one use it? What’s good and what’s not?
I’m trying to get off the Hydrocodone as they’re not helping much.

No comment about hemp oil but I agree that Hydrocodone is about useless. I get better results from generic Advil.
The FDA recently moved to removed CBD from Schedule 1 (which means no legitimate medical usage and high abuse rate). Second-hand information indicates that it can be effective. Insurance coverage, though, is unlikely.
A couple friends of mine have tried it… one has chronic back pain and it doesn’t help her much, but I think she’s steering away from it because of the association with marijuana, even without the THC. The other has some injury to her leg that causes her entire leg to hurt and she says that with CBD oil, it narrows the pain down to a couple locations, which is much more manageable.
I hope this works out for you.
I was bringing back some small amounts of edibles from CO for a friend that was dealing with cancer, and it sure helped him with pain and nausea, without getting him high.
I unfortunately had to quit getting it for him when my TX cop friend said the edibles of marijuana are actually a felony, even if it is just less than one gram. He said I would have been better off bringing back small amount of just bud or leaf which would have been just a misdemeanor if I recall him right.
Here is how one TX lawyer describes it: https://paulschifferlaw.com/drug-crimes-defense/illegal-possess-marijuana-edible/
Have you considered Kratom? Don’t have any pains myself, but thought “A Leaf of Faith” that is on Netflix may have some merit for many pain sufferers. It’s also keeping a lot of people kick heroin and other opiates.
I hear people swear by CBD oil everyday, a huge amount of people are using it and swearing by it. I don’t see how it could do anything?? THC might have some pain relieving qualities but if you remove that there really isn’t anything left that could be therapeutic.
I"ve tried CBD oil for anxiety. It didn’t treat my anxiety but it gave me depression on top of the anxiety. The depression cleared up when I quit taking it.
I know THC has value in relieving pain and depression because I smoked pot before. Always make me feel better. I got the bottle of hemp oil today and took a dose. What it did was to relax me that I was able to flex my neck more and line up the vertebrae. That helped with the pain. Together with the pain pills it’s working out better.
Neck pain sucks. I got this bottle From Amazon because it was cheap and I had little money in the bank. New tires and new toilet left me broke. Now I have time to research and get a better bottle next month. I’m looking for the bottle with CBD/THC but Texas probably will say no way Jose.
Why I’m asking here about your experiences.
And how do you know that? A lot of neuropharmacologists are looking into cbd oil’s properties. They haven’t made such flat out declarations about it yet.
I’ve read the THC can interfere with therapeutic value of hemp oil but I also read that some will have .03% THC in it.
This bottle I got is full spectrum hemp oil. It means that they used the whole plant in making the oil. Some make the oil from seeds only.
OP, you may want to check the Groupon website. There’s a bunch of offers for various gummies, vape cartridges, etc. and I can vouch for at least one of 'em personally. Feel free to P.M. me for details.
Now they are looking into it what exactly have they found. It supposedly cures cancer, baldness, impotency, arthritis, and everything else under the sun. Snake oil as far as I am concerned.
Can you provide a cite that someone says it cures cancer? How about baldness? Impotency? Arthritis?
I’ve done some reading on CBD, and I’ve not read anyone make those claims. But if you have a link, it would be helpful.
Seriously, all it took for me is typing in on various search engines, ”cbd oil cures…” and it lights up with every one of those claims and a lot more. Some of it is actually legit, such as reducing seizures, and plenty of studies reducing tumor sizes, but I’m sure quite a bit of these claims fall short, and they could use a better word besides cure.
I wouldn’t say that it cure cancer. More likely it reduces the risks and stunt the growths of cancer. The cannabis are beneficial to eyes also.
When I was 51 and smoking pot at the time I was getting new glasses and the doc kept looking in my eyes during the examination. She finally remarked that my eyes are such in good shape for my age. Made sense that after I stopped smoking my eyes went to pot. They can’t make the glasses any stronger for my right eye.
So, at some time after age 51, your vision declined? That never happens. </sarcasm>
OP look into Kratom, the tree leaf from SE Asia. apparently it has been used for 100s of years to alleviate pain. during opium trade times it was used to wean off the hard stuff. only 5 states have banned it so it’s likely legal since you’re in the US.
IIRC it’s just the FDA-approved formulation that’s getting its schedule changed, not CBD in general.
I was on the same prescription for years. After that my prescriptions changed gradually worse wise.
That happens to millions of people as they get older, not just ex-pot smokers.
