Am I thinking of another Jim Varney? The “Ernest Goes to Hell and Back” Jim Varney isn’t listed as dead yet on www.imdb.com . Or, are they just out of date?
Standing in line at the pearly gates with Doug Hennig? Ack.

They say the Lord loves drunks, fools and little children.
Two out of three ain’t bad.
I may have said this already in another thread, but Tom Landry and Schulz within hours of each other probably means Reagan, Bob Hope (who are both on not borrowed, but mortgaged time) or Johnny Carson, or (knock wood) Letterman will be the next to go.
(I’m knocking wood to prevent Letterman’s passing, not to precipitate it.)
Remember, I’m pulling for you; we’re all in this together.

My apologies…I had not seen this thread.
Aw, Zette, don’t you go bringin’ up Jim Henson now…gonna get me started…
Henson was an idol of mine. I give him a lot of credit for helping me grow up right.
Still miss him.
Funny, I give Jim Varney a lot of credit for helping me grow up weird.
