Here I go again!

Tomorrow AM, I am climbing onto an airplane and leaving Korea… for good (well, I may come back to visit, possibly…).

Astrogirl is not happy about this, as she won’t be coming with me yet. Her fiancee visa has yet to come through, so she’ll be staying here until it does.

Right now I’m trying not to think about the next couple of weeks, because I have SO much to do! I have to get a driver’s license, buy a car, find an apartment and a job (to help finance all of the preceeding). Argh. Oh yeah! Let’s not forget car insurance, finding an immigration lawyer to help hurry the visa along, open a bank account, file taxes for the past couple of years (living outside the US, I don’t have to pay US taxes unless I make over $70,000, but I still have to file… which I haven’t done for the past two or three years. No fines, since I owe nothing, but still a hassle I should have taken care of earlier.), temporarily furnish my new apt. with cheap yard-sale stuff (AG has denied me permission to decorate until she gets there… she doesn’t trust my sense of style.). I repeat: Argh!:smack:

Time for yet another MAJOR change of life-style!

Wish me luck…

Good luck in resettling. I know all too well the international cross-pond shuffle. I hope the visa comes through quickly as well.

Good luck!

GOOD LUCK! Moving is tough as hell, moving countries is even tougher. Wish you all the best!

Good luck! Remember, when it all starts seeming way too nuts – stop and breathe.

Good luck!

So where are you going?

That reminds me! Another thing to do in the states: quit smoking! Too damn expensive there!

I really should go to bed… I have to get up at 5:30…

Good luck with everything!

OK… here I go!

In a couple of hours I’ll be in the air over the Pacific, headed to San Diego! Woo hoo!

See you all in a few days (I hope!)…
