Come on, man! Chlorine or Bromine, available everywhere! It’s the fodding Olympics, FreCrikeSake! Simple pool care 101, know by every apartment janitor in the entire city! I stand by it: Pooch = Screwed!
Fuck yes I’m harsh! You should ask my kid!

I was being facetious. As a matter of fact, I understand they’ve been planning this whole Olympics thing for months.
How can Gil Roberts stand to have those necklaces banging him in the face when he runs?
Somebody doesn’t like somebody. News at 11:00. did any of the other athletes refuse to ride a bus with her on it?
Just saw the race. Nice run by Farah, and fourth place missed out on the bronze by 0.01 seconds. That’s gotta hurt.
Fuck NBC. Watching the late night edition of the Olympics. An elimination men’s beach volleyball match is going on but we are forced to watch a Ryan Seacreast and Leslie Jones interview. Who cares about either of them?
I’m not really understanding the NBC coverage; the BBC gives you multiple digital online streams = have you checked out the NBC website for more options …
Six years and ten months, in fact. Well, they had that much time to plan, anyway.
Ryan Lochte mugged at gunpoint last night. Wonderful city, Rio.

Yep, lets base a city on a Ryan Lochte experience. Or how about this from last night instead:

BBC4’s decision to not bother with a studio and just host it on the beach has been a bit of a masterstroke, I think.
I’m sure you can provide a list…
She’s definitely carried an unfair amount of pressure, which makes her accomplishments even more impressive.
Yup, anti-Islamic sentiment is just a myth pushed by the Lamestream media.
I was watching the end of golf and the caddies would usually tell the gallery to put down their cameras and phones before the player took his shot. Is that new? I don’t recall hearing that at other tournaments. (It didn’t seem to do any good as everyone was still using their cameras and phones.)
I’m betting it’s because an Olympic audience is probably not necessarily an experienced golfing audience. They might need the etiquette of picture-taking during play explained to them. Although, to be quite frank, some fans (and pro photographers) at regular golf tournaments also can’t seem to follow the rules.
I note that the “get in the hole” fud managed to make the event.
FWIW I would not be at all bothered if the golf the picture-taking “etiquette” were to die off in the face of an always-on-camera culture based on cellphones and mirrorless cameras that can be set to not make that pointless fake shutter sound.
Meanwhile, was not around yesterday to post about Monica Puig’s gold, but as a mundane sidebar at least it satisfied my curiosity as to how would the arrangement of Borinqueña sound; good thing it’s pretty short as anthems go to begin with, it was a fast but tolerable arrangement though the last bar sounded particularly rushed.
Watching the “Two Guys Who Are Cyclists” event and wondering why they’re going, like, one mile an hour, for the first lap or so.
They don’t want to expend unnecessary energy - game of cat and mouse really.
That’s why the keirin exists*, with the little moped bringing the riders up to a decent speed before the sprinting starts.
*well, partly why it exists
