I’d guess a fair bit older. Sometimes these impairments arise from something other than simply a lack of life experience. Some people are quite immune to the clue-stick effect daily life should bring.
I don’t think the overwhelming take-home message of this thread should be that your posts are ever admired, regardless of the context.

Nah, she uses phrases like “how in heavens name,” “glitch,” and “displeased.” Older vocab, good grasp of English and grammar, rarely uses any younger phrasing. If she’s younger, perhaps she was home schooled by older religious conservative, or a good Catholic school.
Just because she is emotionally and socially retarded, doesn’t preclude her from being older.

Where did you come up with this last part. Your tone has nothing to do with your gender. I don’t care if you are a male, female or a green fuzzy thing from Antares, you come across in many posts as evasive and condescending. This paragraph looks like an attempt to change the argument to something you want to debate, not what many of us are trying to tell you.

I didn’t have ‘a correspondence with him’. I wrote to the address at his website, which I did read, and didn’t get any reply; which was expected. I thought I’d said that I read an article at the site. My philosophy club had a discussion about him and linked to his writing and I read what his fans claimed were the works that best explained his main theories.
You seem to think I care about your opinion. I don’t. You’re just pixels on a screen. As am I. I am a hologram. I don’t exist when you turn your machine off, so I don’t expect you or anyone else to take note of me other than that.
I have many hobbies. One of them is posting to the SDMB. While I pursue that hobby, you have impressed me as titanically irritating, insufferably condescending, and flagrantly hypocritical. Apparently, I am not the only one who thinks so. It’s easier for you to dismiss all your critics as black birds, bastards, jackals, and vultures, who are in favor of unconscionable cruelty, as opposed to your gentle kindness. Why? It’s not true? We know nothing of each other. I’ve been on boards where people confessed to adopting personas for their own amusement. They upheld them very well and only were ‘outed’ because they chose to confess. Since then, and since I’ve met some folks IRL that I met online, I’ve been very aware that the words I read may not be the genuine feelings of the writers whether they be good or ill.
I said it earlier and I will say it again, I realize I am not good at pittings, I almost never bother. QG is an irritating poster, that is saying a lot, after all, I have never tried to pit you.
I think of this as a framework of a pitting that needed to happen and to some degree possibly an intervention. Of course I do not think of the other posters as a bunch of pixels. I consider them people and some to be friends.
