You know how you can get the bags of Hershey miniatures? When I was a kid (during the 60’s) my grandmother always had a bowlful of the miniatures and a bowlful of the Kisses. Didn’t there used to be another miniature? It had a beige or cream-colored wrapper and it was butter brickle or something like that.
Does anyone remember this? I am having a disagreement at work about thise and no one believes me.
They had one called “hugs” for a while, that were just a different send up of a kiss. I don’t remember Hershey’s having a butter brickle in the 60’s, but hey, I was just a kid back then. Nobody shared with me anyway.
Oh, and here’s a link that might help. It gives a history of Chocolate for the 1900s.
Heck, I searched since you have to search ‘Mary Janes Candy’

They are/were butterbrickle/butterscotch kinda chewy and the size of Hershey Miniatures.
No, no, no, it was in the bag of Hershey miniatures!
I’ll check on the history of chocolate.
