Its 15 minutes in and I’m laughing. Man, I missed this show. Its odd though, Fox actually made a good programing decision and put it on right after Malcom. Amazing. Anybody else watching?
It was pretty good, mocking race issues is funny, especially with how seriously some people treat it. Funniest thing on that night (second was the dog dancing on King of the Hill)
Wow-- if all of the shows are this good- I am hooked.
Doh! I missed it thanks to the all to compelling Sunday night football game.
I’m glad to hear that it was funny, the commercial they’ve been playing all week was pretty dumb.
He should have gotten the third television.

[sub]Finally, I have a dream … something to keep striving and struggling for.[/sub]
I’ve been dying over that coffee joke every time I see the commercial!
“I didn’t see coffee.”
SPLASH-SCALD
“Do ya see it now?”
Personally, I found this episode very offensive, as I am half Irish.
Oh, I’m bummed I missed it! I’m so glad Fox has brought it back this season - what a great show.
Heh, that whole B-story about the receptionist getting a power trip… what a riot!
drat! I missed it… sigh…
So what’s the problem?

As per the rules of my SDMB contract, and this being an Andy Richter thread, I am obligated to ask the following: Does anyone know who performs the theme song and what it’s called?
Please note that my asking of this question does not obligate the supplying of an answer.
I love this show! Last year I heard it was cancelled. I was so relieved to hear it was coming back.
How much of a sloth am I? When he was talking about his dream of having two televisions, I immediately thought, “You need three.”
Legomancer - I tried to find out about the theme song. The best I could find was on the offical ARCTU message board. (Which was not the first place I looked.)
I searched that board for “theme” and found a post saying the song was written by Burns/Kirk/Burns - the show’s composers. It’s performed by Jason Cropper of Weezer. I don’t know if this is correct, but it’s the best guess I could find.
I found a few web sites that let you listen to the song, but none of them list a title or performer:

Also be sure to check out this:

It’s Andy’s office excuses and defenses. Warning: Not work friendly! The “excuses” are sound files of Andy.
Also, just to defend the “I am a sloth” comment - if I had three televisions in my room, it would be sooooo much trouble to turn all of them on, and put them on the same channel…I get tired just thinking about it.
How did a show this good NOT get cancelled? Shows this good always get cancelled. And if this last episode is any indication, then the second run is even better than the first. So, enjoy it while you can; its demise is imminent.
It’s a good show, and I’m glad to see it return. I hope Fox will stick with it. Last night’s episode gets an A+.
Was the girl in this episode who took the drugs the same person that played the girl last season? They look similar but she seems taller now.
It’s the same girl. She has the same teeth.
I never forget a tooth.
Yeah, it was a great episode. Think of how many other sitcoms would take this subject and turn it either into something heartwarming or disgusting. Andy got the tone just right.
Of course, debuting a show just after November sweeps means they don’t have much confidence in it. We need to find some Neilson families and make sure they watch it during February sweeps – assuming Fox puts it on then.
Andy was on teh Daily show. The clip they showed was the only promo clip on a talk show taht actually made me want to see the product.
“Yeah Andy, it’s like that time you figured out teh sandwhich guy’s true identity.”
[Flashback of a snadwhich cart being wheeled past Andy’s office. Andy suddenly stands up, walks out and shouts]
HITLER!!
[old man in a Hitler moustache slowly turns around]
I was on the floor.
